Brand Identity ; Whats Involved?

I believe branding is a fundamental step in creating a successful business. If you brand your business well, you will attract your ideal client, what your selling will be made apparent very quickly, your business values will be reflected in the colours, the fonts and the pattern and most importantly a custom brand tells yours story and thats the part that is totally unique to your business.

In my Brand Identity Package I offer clients the following:

Brand Strategy Workshop

Primary Logo

Secondary Logo

Marks

Patterns

Colour Palette

Fonts

Here’s a quick definition of those terms so you know what to expect;

Brand Strategy Workshop this is a zoom call or face to face if you’re local, where I ask you a series of focused questions using a visual presentation. it’s designed to help authentically grow your busi-

ness in a way that reflects your own unique vision, the conversation goes through the history of your business its roots and meaning, we identify your target audience and your ideal clients. We discuss your industry, who exists in your market and then we delve into some creative visual questions to try and identify how you visualise your brand. The conversation usually takes and hour + and once we’re done I’ll send you the results of our chat in a visual slide show with a mood board which is the first step on to logo design.

Primary Logo this is the main identifying mark for your business. All your other brand logos will stem from this primary logo design.

Secondary Logo This is an alternative version to your primary logo, it will most likely be a different shape to your primary logo so it can be used on alternative design settings. Depending on your industry, this logo can be vertical or horizontal.

Marks these are a great way to level-up your brand, they are smaller forms of your logos which use text and graphics.

Patterns graphical art forms that can be used in packaging, on labels, business cards and websites which identify your unique style.

Colour Palette these are your brand colours, use them on your fonts, colour blocks on your website or even during a photoshoot to re-iterate the way your branding belongs to your business and they encourage consistency which is a huge asset to your identity.

Fonts your brand will usually have two or three identifiable custom fonts. using them for headings and in calls to action on your website as well as your packaging and signage.

Brand Identity Example:

The example above was created for the lovely Charlotte Lodey, you can visit her website here. Charlotte is a successful life coach, she came to me asking for consistency across her branding, she was also tired of her brand name which was “The Palm Tree Club” as it had little connection to her brand story and for her it lacked validity. Through her brand workshop we identified the direction Charlotte wanted to go in and we decided a name change was paramount for the success of her future aspirations. Charlotte invested in a new Brand Identity and a New website, the final result is a unique and functional portfolio website that showcases the various ways she supports her clients.

The Brand Identity Package is a creative process that I allow 6 weeks on my current calendar timeline to complete as I’m still working part time while I raise my babies. I would be so happy to answer any of your questions, leave me a comment in the box below or ping me over an enquiry via email. I hope this post has cleared up a few areas of my Brand Identity package, I charge £565 for this service and do offer a pricing plan if needed.
